I create bespoke murals for businesses, public spaces and private clients. Whether it's a permanent mural, a live painting event or a large-scale commercial commission, I aim to make the process straightforward from start to finish.
To get started, I'll need:
A photo of the wall (or space) and its dimensions
A brief description of your idea, or any reference images you have
Any practical information, such as site access, working hours, ventilation, or whether the area will be occupied while I work
Once I have these details, I'll provide a quotation and an estimated timeline for the project.
What's included:
My quotation includes:
Artwork and design

The Tools I Use
I use a range of techniques depending on the project, the venue and the desired finish. The right approach depends on factors such as location, ventilation, access, timescale and whether the artwork is being created live or as a permanent installation.
Spray Paint
Advantages
Fast coverage for large-scale murals
Creates an engaging live painting experience
Ideal for outdoor projects and events
Produces great behind-the-scenes and social media content
Durable, long-lasting finish
Considerations
Requires good ventilation due to paint fumes
Best suited to outdoor locations or well-ventilated indoor spaces
Airbrush
Advantages
Highly detailed and precise
Low odour, making it suitable for many indoor environments
Can be used on walls, vehicles, panels and a variety of other surfaces
Ideal for photorealistic artwork and smooth gradients
Considerations
Requires an electrical supply for the compressor
Air hose and power cable need to be managed safely during installation
Brushes & Paint Markers
Advantages
Virtually silent and odour-free
No electricity required
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor venues
A good option where spray paint isn't permitted
Can be incorporated into interactive events where clients or guests participate
Considerations
Slower than spray painting on large areas
Creates a quieter working process with less visual impact during live events
Planning & Layout
Tools I may use
Pencil and chalk for traditional sketching
Digital projector for accurate layout on larger projects
Mixed reality (Meta Quest) for visualising designs in the space before painting begins
Why?
Faster installation
Accurate proportions
Less disruption on site
More time spent painting rather than measuring
FAQ
How long does a live painting take?
Most live paintings are created over the course of the event, from 2–4 hours to several days, depending on the artwork and event schedule. I usually begin with a lightly sketched composition rather than a completely blank canvas, but I'm happy to adapt to your preference.
Can the artwork be customised?
Yes. Every artwork is created specifically for the event, venue, brand or brief.
What size artwork can you create?
From small indoor canvases to large-scale murals and architectural installations.
Can guests interact with the artwork?
Yes. Depending on the event, guests are welcome to watch the painting develop, ask questions and, if appropriate, take part in selected elements.
Do you travel internationally?
Yes. I've worked across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia, and I'm always happy to travel for commissions.
What do you need on site?
This depends on the project and the materials being used. Typically, I require a suitable working area, access to power (where applicable) and enough space to work safely. Full requirements are provided before the event.
What surfaces can you paint on?
I can paint on a wide range of surfaces, including walls, canvases, vehicles, windows, panels and many other materials. If you're unsure whether your surface is suitable, just get in touch.
Can the artwork be kept after the event?
Yes. Most live paintings are created on canvas or removable panels so they can be displayed, auctioned or installed after the event. Alternatively, the artwork can be created directly onto a permanent surface if required.
